Issue number one of Fluxus newspaper published January 1964. Edited by George Brecht and George Maciunas. Cover includes catalogue of Fluxus yearbooks with prices. Interior pages include a editorial by George Brecht, "Poeme Symphonique" by Gyorgy Ligeti; "Man who runs" by Ben Patterson; "Child Art Piece," by Alison Knowles. A whole section on musical themed texts with contributions by Dick Higgins, Emmett Williams, and Jackson Mac Low; and much more. The two Low texts are signed. The final page has an image of Christo's 1961 "L'Empaquetage D'Edifice Public," along with a text from Stan Van der Beek and Eugen Gromringer; comic strips and more.
