Crocodile Tears

Douglas Huebler

description

Publication reproduces ten comic strips by Huebler that appeared in L.A. Weekly, a Los Angeles free newspaper, between June 29 and August 30, 1984 as part of the 1984 Olympic Arts Festival and Huebler's ongoing work Variable Piece no. 70, which Huebler began in 1971 as a project that would "photographically document the existence fo everyone alive." Also contains a reprint of Huebler's self interview [ascribed to Arthur Rose] originally published in the February 1969 issue of Arts Magazine. A witty conceptual art project.
